Our investment team is made up of individuals that share the same investing philosophy and have worked together for many years in different companies.
Mr. Papakonstantinou has more than 28 years of experience as an Entrepreneur, Managing Partner in Private Equity, Bank Deputy CEO and he is an experienced Investment Banker. In 2016 he founded Virtus International Partners, a private equity investment management company. In 2011 he founded Virtus Partners, a boutique business finance company, consulting companies on mergers and acquisitions and on fundraising and restructuring deals. Earlier, in 1996 he co-founded P&K, the largest Greek Investment house, which was sold in 2007 to NBG, the largest Greek bank. He has participated in BoDs in Greece and overseas.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He speaks fluent English and French.
Mr. Papalexiou has more than 30 years of experience in private equity and investment and corporate banking. For the last 20 years he has been a partner of private investment funds and senior investment consultant, in Greece and London, in the retail, telecommunications, consumer goods, health and entertainment industries. He was also the Managing Director and shareholder of a large stock exchange company and the Managing Director of a Greek bank’s investment banking unit. He has been an executive and non-executive member of many BoDs in Greece and overseas.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as a fellow of Procter & Gamble and member of the company Beta Gamma Sigma and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He speaks fluent English.
Damianos Papakonstantinou has more than 24 years of experience in the financial sector as an investment manager, investment banker for acquisitions and mergers and CEO of the largest Greek Brokerage company. He was a partner in Virtus Partners, an investment banking boutique and has served in executive roles on BoDs in Greece and abroad.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He speaks fluent English and French.
